Dear Owners of the Marquette Brewing Cooperative:
We have exciting news, and we want to tell you all about it at our Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, March 6th at 6:00. This year’s meeting will actually take place at the brewery! We have finished most of the demolition, and while we can’t promise that it looks beautiful, at least we have a wide-open space where the future brewery and taproom will be. This is your chance to see the brewery for yourself, get the latest updates, and learn how you can help build your brewery.
We are looking to fill three positions on the Board of Directors: Secretary, Treasurer, and General Board Member. The election will take place at the Annual Membership Meeting where you the members will vote. Any member can run for the board, there are no requirements other than being a coop member. This is a great time to serve on the board as we move from concept to reality. Be prepared to give a short oral introduction at the meeting prior to voting.
Mark your calendar! March 6th, 6:00 PM, 501 Lake Street, Marquette. We will serve home-brewed beer and refreshments, give tours, and update you on what’s been done and what is yet to come. Elections will take place at the end of the meeting.
